I recently purchased a small cutting board thru Amazon. It was just what I had been looking for. I wanted a small board (8" X 12). I wanted a board I could keep out all the time for small cutting
jobs, and this fits the bill perfectly. Also I wanted a good wood
board, and this board is made of teakwood, which is beautiful and sturdy. A little pricy but you only get what you pay for!

I bought this here on Amazon to replace an almost identical one I had bought at Whole foods, lost and could never find again. It is very rich looking, has a great feel in the hand and looks great propped against my backsplash. This shallow size is perfect in my kitchen. This board is so pretty, very solid and there's nothing like teak to stand the test of time. I will be learning from past experience with my other board though, and oiling periodically it this time to deepen the color rather than lightening because I tend to wash it rather carelessly with lots of soap. This would make a great gift too.
