I've only had experience with 3 cutting boards in my life - one my mom owns (amazing! probably lasted a decade so far; we're still using it but I'm not sure what it's made of), and two that I bought for college. The first was a piece of crap that got warped within the first week of using it. The second is this one. And I love it! It's GORGEOUS, and it works well. It's been good to my knives so far, and it doesn't get water/knife-damaged like that first board I bought. Very study! Of course, I'm comparing it only to two other boards I've used...but I love it.

First, I want to note that some of the descriptions made it hard to tell if the 16x12x2 is edge or end grain. It is END grain. It is quite gorgeouse (looks better than the picture in my case). It definitely needs a coat of oil or conditioner as soon as it comes out of the box. All in all a perfect product.

The Texas producer of this fine board was very helpful before my purchase and the board has totally lived up to our expectations!We would highly recommend this teak product to other consumers. Thanks Amazon for carrying this product.

This cutting board is just what I wanted. It is a perfect size for cutting veggies up and the wood is beautiful I leave it out on my kitchen counter all the time so it is handy to use.

This is a beautiful cutting board. A bit thicker and heavier than I expected, so be aware of the weight. Excellent quality.

Nice thick cutting board. Sure will last for years to come. Little bit pricy, but get what you paid for.
