I bought this as a household gift for the holidays, and I was a little worried about the quality when I initially ordered it - only because for the price, it seemed too good to be true. Well, I have to say, I am impressed. For about $30, you get what would cost well over $50 (and even up to $75) for a butcher block cutting board at a department store. It is very sturdy, and very stylish. It's just the right thickness, too; it's not too thin, but it's not obnoxiously thick either. It's also constructed from teak harvested from sustainable forests, which is a huge plus! I definitely recommend this product.
