The Flutist that this was purchased for loves the case. It is being used for a Yamaha B-Foot Flute, it fits great and adds additional space with the second Pocket. Pocket can be used for a Piccolo.

This case offers you a place to keep your flute case, piccolo, and some extra stuff (slide grease, key oil, w/e). The one thing I don't like about this case is that the bluging exterior pocket makes it look freaking fat. You are no longer holding a slim flute case, some sort of luggage. Overall, the case is really convenient; I just seem to have issues with its appearance.

It's a flute bag. Pretty simple. It's a pretty nice looking bag, though; I've gotten quite a few compliments about it. The front compartment is easily accessible and can hold a piccolo case, two cleaning rods, a packet of pad paper, two cleaning cloths, two more cloths for the inside of your flute/picc, AND a metronome or tuner, all at the same time. (Yeah, I was surprised too.) My only complaints about the bag are the placement of the shoulder strap and the unstableness of the metal studs on the bottom of the case to keep it upright. The hooks are quite far back on the case, so when slinging it over your shoulder (especially with a piccolo in the front pocket) the bag tends to lean outward a bit awkwardly. Also, unless you have a b-foot hard case that you're putting into the bag, there will be extra space inside the main pocket; not a big issue. The inside of the main compartment is very wall padded, so your flute will be nice and safe; if you have a b-foot flute and your case is extra long, it will fit quite snuggly (like mine).

Just to clarify, this is a case that is meant to hold a professional type hard case for a flute (not the bulky, hard student flute cases). It is a case COVER, not a case in and of itself.

Definitely recommended if you need a replacement case cover, or a case to hold both a flute and picc, or play a lot of gigs and need a pocket to hold all your gadgets, whatever they may be (except a stand...it's not big enough for a collapsible stand).

I bought this case for my daughter to use. She is using my flute to start band this year and thought this case would be easier for her to carry along with her backpack. The sholder strap is great, easily adjusted, and the hardware is really nice and sturdy. Right now that front pocket is the perfect place to store cleaning cloths and a pencil for lessons. But I can see her using the front pocket later on for a stand when the band does outdoor concerts. I would highly recomend this item.

Protec makes fantastic instrument cases and case covers like this one. My daughter wanted one for her good flute, so several years ago we purchased one. It still looks like new, regardless of several hard years in high school and now at college and does a super job of protecting the hard flute case. I have a molded Protec case for my 30 year old trombone. I was too hard on my original case and had to finally get a new one. Though it doesn't make my playing sound any better, the case is strong, durable and adaptable. I wasn't sure my trombone would fit in this new case, but it does and gives me plenty of room for accessories. So, this year I bought a Protec flute case for my mom and her 60+ year old King flute for her birthday. "She howled with joy!" is what my Dad said. I am sold on the Protect line. Don't get an imitation! Highly recommended!!

I ordered this flute case for my special needs granddaughter who plays flute in the Middle School band. The zipper on her case had broken and she needed a new one fast. Amazon provided excellent service in getting it to her within a couple of days. She reported that it was stronger and much nicer than the original one she got with the flute and was very pleased with it.

This is a great case cover. I had originally bought this for my 12year old son for band in school. I actually ended up purchasing a second one for my daughter. This case holds not only the flute case but it also has a compartment for cleaning rod and many other miscellaneous items. This case also comes w/a ID tag holder which is great and nice shoulder strap with sturdy metal clasps.

The case fits really well. I have a french flute with a B flat foot joint and it fits that as well as a regular flute. It holds up well and has a lot of room in the front pocket to store objects. The removeable strap is also useful if I have an armful or just want to not carry the case. It is a great buy! My mother asked me how much I paied because she thought it was well over $100 but I told her it was only $20. A GREAT buy! I <3 it!

This is a nice, economical flute bag that serves its purpose very well. However, it started tearing up after about a year or so of use. My daughter does take it to school every day, but she is very careful with her belongings. If you have a child who is very rough with things, this case won't last that long. We will still probably buy another one just like it though. My daughter had a more expensive flute bag before this one, and it barely lasted a few months before it started tearing at the handle. I am afraid to shell out a lot of money for a really expensive bag and then it won't be any better than this one. At least we know what we're getting with this one, and it doesn't cost that much.

This case cover is very durable, and the extra pocket for holding accessories is great! It comes with a shoulder strap as well, which I probably won't ever use but is a nice idea for people who tend to carry a lot of things at once. The main section which holds the flute case is soft and padded which provides great extra protection. Also, there are little feet on the bottom of this case cover so that it doesn't sit directly on the floor which is great because band room floors can be pretty disgusting due to instrument condensation clearing (publicly acceptable spit). Overall, I would say this is a very thoughtfully designed flute case cover and I'm glad I didn't waste money on something slightly cheaper!
