We had tried several cases for my son's smaller sized tuba and this one was by far, the best. The measurements given online in the item description were right on, and as a result, his tuba fits in snugly and securely and we feel confident it is being protected while he hauls it to chamber groups, gigs, and throughout music camp. The handles are comfortable, well padded and seem secure and he loves the backpack feature which frees up his hands to carry other necessary items he made need. There is a side pocket that is the perfect size for holding his music, lube, cloth, and extra mouth pieces. One feature we both really liked was the fitted elastic padded disk that came with it that fits over the opening of the bell of the tuba and provides a bit more padding and and some rigidity to this otherwise soft case. Well worth the price.
