This is all-around a great bag. Well-made, sturdy yet lightweight, excellent protection for my horn. The padding all around is thick and very protective. Some details you can't tell from the description or photo: The main zipper is offset from the center, and there's a layer of padding underneath it to keep your horn from being scratched by the zipper. There's a hard plastic insert in the end to protect the bell, and another, removable hard plastic insert along the length of the bottom of the bag - remove to make the bag more flexible, leave in to make the bottom rigid and provide more protection. the hardware is now black powder-coated, and it came with a free mouthpiece pouch as well! Highly recommended.

This Protec trumpet bag was not the least expensive but it is worth every penny. It is classy looking (as in, say, Tumi luggage), has a lot of protective padding, esp. for the bell. The side pocket safely holds mouthpieces, stand, etc. In addition to the regular handle, there is a handle at the end of the bag, and a shoulder strap that can be configured several ways. A great choice.

This is a great gig bag for the active performer. It fits most of the extra stuff for the trumpet and it's durable.
I would recommend this bag to anyone that needs a good quality bag for thier instument.
