I ordered this case as a replacement for a school instrument. It did not fit at all, not even close! My daughter thinks the designer has never even seen a bassoon! It's a real shame because I like the canvas outer shell and the zip pocket on the side, but you can't use this for a bassoon. There's no protection for the whisper key and no allowance for the ring for the seat strap.

Tight fit for the bassoon. Had to force it a little at first. Hate where the bocals are stored. love the outer bag, very large pocket and strap.
