I recently purchased two Protec guitar straps in order to avoid having to switch straps between instruments. 2.0 out of 5 stars OK Strap
The strap was cheap, but I would have hoped that it would have at least stayed on the guitar. My son has been having problems with the guitar coming off the strap and falling to the floor. I guess we will be looking to get a different strap. It is worth a look for the price, but be aware that you may have trouble getting the guitar to stay strapped in.

I recently purchased two Protec guitar straps in order to avoid having to switch straps between instruments. These straps are quite flexible length-wise, so if you have ever been disappointed by a strap that you either couldn't get short enough for a high playing position or long enough for a low playing position, you will not be disappointed here. These are also a nice medium width, so they should be suitable for all kinds of players. Although one reviewer complained about the size of the holes for the strap buttons, I actually find the snug fit to be an advantage: it doesn't feel like I'll have to worry about the strap coming disconnected from the guitar. And, the price is right.

5.0 out of 5 stars guitar strap, February 25, 2010

Great strap for the new guitar that I bought my granddaughter. Adjusts easily. Take a close look at the picture. It has openings at each end. If you only have one peg at the bottom of your guitar you will need to get an attachment at a music store for it to work.

5.0 out of 5 stars basic black strap . . ., November 1, 2008
This review is from: Protec Guitar Strap, Black (Electronics)
Pro Tec manufactures a variety of accessories for musical instruments. Their low cost black nylon guitar strap, is a well constructed high quality item, that is a top seller at Amazon. The large sized attachment tabs are quite thick, about 1/8 inch. Although the fit on the typical guitar strap nuts is snug, some type of strap retainer would still be recommended. Black works with most colors, and this strap should last for a long time, but it is so inexpensive, if you qualify for free shipping, you might want to consider ordering a spare.

I needed a strap for my Stratocaster. Badly. But I needed one for cheap, instead of spending 20 dollars for a standard one at Guitar Center. If you don't think this is right for you, perhaps you should stop playing the instrument all together.

Pros

-It's VERY durable. It'll take anything you swing at it. I mean that literally.
-Nice and snug fit. It will not come out of the top of the guitar screw.
-Good length.
-I love how it doesn't force the brand logo on you, so it's very incognito and not flashy when you're playing at a show or jamming at your friend's house. Just my 2 cents on that little fact.

Cons

-It can be uncomfortable at prolonged periods of playing, but really, that's with any strap. You can disregard this fact if you want.

Very nice quality, inexpensive guitar strap. A little tough to get on.... that just means it's not going to come off with use, just make sure it is all the way on before you start using it! Using this on my Ibanez ART100 electric guitar. The pick pocket is a nice extra.

Bought this strap for use with my Dean EVO electric. It's very nice and durable, though the leather on the ends was really tough to get around the strap holders on the guitar since the strap is really heavy-duty. It works great, though, and for the price it's wonderful.

I think this is an awesome guitar strap because it is fully ajustable and it makes playing guitar easier because I don't have to sit down as I play.

Not a whole lot I can say about the strap. It is exactly as pictured, seems to be properly made, and was only a slightly massive pain in my rear to get it on the guitar buttons. For the price I have zero complaints.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cheap Guitar Strap, November 3, 2011

For $7, you can't ask more from a guitar strap. I did have quite the difficult time putting on my guitar, but I am not having the issues of it falling off my guitar like some others have had. This strap is definitely nestled in quite well.

I would definitely recommend this purchase if you are looking for a cheap guitar strap.

great strap very easy to adjust length and to install it it has very tight leather so with a box cutter juss cut it a bit longer to make installment easier . plus it has a pick pocket.
