I bought this for my EWI. Perfect fit! Just shifted the velcro pieces inside the case around a bit and it looks like it was made for it. I've used it for more than a year and couldn't be happier.

I got that case for my EWI 4000s - fits perfectly! I absolutely love it - ultralight, keeps the instrument and some additional staff safe! Great quality for a reasonable price.

Excellent case. I use it for the EWI 4000S. Lots of compartments and rugged case protects the EWI. I use it weekly.

It's amusing that 95% of the reviews for this say they're using it for an EWI lol. I use it for my EWI 4000s and couldn't be happier. It fits 99% perfectly, and has storage space for the AC adapter (which I never use anyway, but nice to have it just in case), MIDI and audio cables if you need them, a neck strap, and a pocket within the outer pocket that screams 'stuff me with extra batteries.' I keep 8 extra eneloops in the case along with a charger.

The exterior is pretty rugged and holds up well to moderate abuse so far. Definitely the case to beat for an EWI, imo, and the price is not bad at all.

I received this case in perfect condition and in a very short time.

Love this case it allows me to be quite mobile and feel confident my horn is safe.

This gig bag is quite versatile. Padding is also top notch to protect the instrument. The padding can be moved around for a very snug fit. While not a hard shell case, this type of gig bag is excellent for regional gigs and travel.

This is an awesome case. I purchased it to carry my Akai EWI 4000s in. It fits perfectly offering plenty of protection. Just needed to move interior padding around for a custom fit. Side pocket allows for storage of instrument cords and midi cable. The case can be carried by handles on top, or by shoulder strap, strap also allows case to be carried as a backpack. Great buy for the price and quick shipping.

This case is just what I needed to store my EWI USB in. I also store the stand, which is a music stand, in the cover pocket. The case is well made in my opinion.

While the EWI USB is a bit smaller than the 4000, it will still work in this bag. You can position the foam to make it work. Its not perfect, but its a heck of a lot better than nothing!

Purchased for Akai USB-EWI. After playing alto, tenor, baritone, etc in high school marching and symphonic band, it is so cool to have all those instruments in this one little case now... High quality, back-pack straps are available optionally, recommended.
