I've had this Pro Tec gig bag for a couple years now. It works quite well, especially for traveling. It fits easily in the overhead on airplanes and can hold lots of smaller items such as cameras, mutes, etc. My only concern with this gig bag is that my trumpets don't fit exactly in the pre-molded foam. There's a little bit of room which I use a folded pot holder to keep my trumpet from moving. My Yamaha trumpet may have been slightly dented (the second valve slide) by the case. My Bach has been fine. Also, watch when opening that the case is level, or else your mouthpiece will slide out of its place and hit your leadpipe. You can always keep the mouthpiece in another part of the case. The shoulder straps work great in the airport or during extended walks with the case. Basically a very good gig bag.

I bought this bag for my teenage son a year ago and it's withstood his treatment quite well. Nothing is broken at all. It's been dropped, manhandled, and has survived rain. It is still as durable as it was a year ago. This bag is the envy of his trumpet friends. The only negative feedback is that it's not big enough to hold his sheet music folder, but that is true of most cases. Otherwise, I highly recommend it. The bag has plenty of room for the following: trumpet, mouthpieces, mute, grease, oil, and cleaning kit.

This trumpet case is not heavy, but it appears to be very solidly assembled from quality materials. It has lots of space and pockets to carry items that you may need. The back pack straps are comfortable and make carrying it easy. I like the feature that permits you to carry it by the handle on the top of the case, and then set it down where it remains vertical on the floor. Then you don't have to lean over to pick it up. One aspect of it is just a bit annoying. You just can't open it and take the trumpet out quickly. It takes just a bit of time to open the velcro flap and unzip the side of the case. Overall a very good product.
