When I had my second child, I splurged and bought the newest Phil & Teds Sport V2 double Tandem Stroller....even though I knew it lacked in accessories. Once it became warmer and I wanted to walk to burn off baby fat- I realized that the lack of sun protection for the littlest ones in the doubles seat was a problem. I came across this a while back and hemmed and hawed about spending the money, and then just sucked it up and bought it.
And let me just say, that it is worth EVERY PENNY. It is very well made, and completely flexible, so it works when the back seat is reclined or not. My little one was completely covered, cool, and the elastic top part made checking on him so easy. A cinch to take on and off too...no more of process than adding/removing the doubles seat on the stroller. At 3- my kid in front wouldn't have wanted a full mesh screen, so for the baby this is perfect. Awesome prduct. And now that I see how its made, I think its a bargain!

Awesome accessory!,

Worked so well for my 3-month old who sits in the tandem seat. I use this in the rain as well, and it seems to protect him. When he's sleeping it's also nice for a cozier environment. :-) A+.

Great Sun Protection,

I bought this for my newborn who was in the "rumble" seat in the Phil & Ted's Vibe. Trying to use a blanket to shade the sun was impossible and not effective. This is a wonderful solution. There is 100% coverage and you can keep the sides up or down so that the little one can look out or if there is sun only on one side. My son is not bothered by his view being obstructed because of his age, but I do wonder if you have an older child, whether they would stand for the coverage. In any event, a product that does what it says it will. Installation consists of just tying it to your stroller. It does stick out a bit in the back, but it really is not a big bother.

I bought blue because it was on sale for 17$. If I had the extra money I would have bought black. I use it every day. My baby falls asleep because it is so shaded but still lots of air.

After reading the reviews I, like others who bought this, wanted to purchase some sort of sun shade. This looked like something convenient, and for the price I thought it would be. But I feel like I may have well just bought a piece of fabric to hang on the back. You have to put the child in and then put the cover on. The picture gives the impression that the cover is similar to the original sun shade, but it basically just lays on top of the back seat. If you have a sleeping child in the back that may be great, but an older kid can easily pull this out of position. Also, it doesn't permanently attach like I had hoped. Every time you want to get in or out you have to take the cover off and put it on. I still gave it three stars because if your child allows it to stay it will work, but if you have an older child in the back it may not work.

This takes some getting used to before you figure out exactly how to put it on. But once you have the hang of it, its great...especially for the bub that was getting sun in her eyes before!
