About the Author

CarolJoy Towle is a frequent guest speaker on the topic of Y2K preparations in the home. As the author of this book, she has been featured many times on television and radio, as well as in newspapers and magazines.

CarolJoy's belief about the Millennium problem is that if you feel prepared to handle a week or two without basic services, then it doesn't really matter what happens in January. You can simply get prepared, and then relax and enjoy the rest of 1999.

As a parent, CarolJoy understands your sense of responsibility as you plan to care for your family at the turn of the century. She graduated in Psychology from the University of Waterloo, so you can count on her passion to help you transform this potential "Millennium Crisis" into a "Millennium Adventure". She also graduated in Education from the University of Calgary and taught school for seven years, so you can trust her commitment to educate and inform you with very practical and useful solutions.

The author is currently Vice President of Hands On Safety Training Services in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, so you know that she writes with the greatest integrity because of her concern for the safety of your family.
