4.0 out of 5 stars Still worth it but needs improving
A good idea if your convertible car seat provides no shade for your little one - but... it's so large that if you use a backseat mirror to check on the baby, the shade will cover your view. Other than that- I have no complaints. It's pretty flexible so you can tie the sides tighter to adjust the shade down, etc. You can also leave the panels up and the top shade might...

3.0 out of 5 stars Keeps the sun out of baby's eyes
This shade doesn't fit very well on our car seat or stroller, but it gets the job done. My husband hates it and thinks it is an eye sore, but I use it often to keep the sun off the little one. Wish is wasn't black - gets HOT in Miami.

This product doesn't really work. The sun has to be in just the right spot to work. It also blocks your child from looking outside. It is very soft and ends up on top of your child's head. It is expensive and not worth it. Save your $.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor sun coverage, February 22, 2009

After searching for days for a product to protect my little guy's eyes from the sun while in his rear-facing toddler seat, I settled on this sunshade. It is not worth the money. Once installed, it is difficult to get the child in and out of the car seat. Further, it does very little to actually keep the sun out of their eyes, as the canopy arcs up, like a duck bill, allowing sun to come in underneath. Disappointing product. Ours was returned.

This thing doesn't work. Period. The front part goes up, like a duck's bill, thus defeating the purpose of the product: to block the sun from hitting your baby. It's big and bulky, too. Total waste of money.

My daughter screams from the moment she gets into her car seat because of the sun. I am not sure why, but I have tried everything to block the light from her. I tried this a week ago and like the other said, it doesn't work. The top rolls back up defeating the purpose. It would work just fine if they had found a better way to package it so it wouldn't try to roll back up. I am very dissapointed and it was a waste of money. Don't bother.

Needed a hood for our Britax, Looked like it would solve our sun problem. Wrong. Doesn't "fit" as advertised. Doesn't provide adequate protection. Should've had estimated dimensions for buyer awareness. Edit the claim that it will "fit" most seats. Product is misrepresented & misleading.

Very disapointed! It does not fit properly. It folds and ends up on top of your child's head. It is expensive and not worth it. Save your $.

4.0 out of 5 stars tricky to position.... but worth the hassle, July 21, 2011

I bought these sunshades for my Peg Perego infant car seats (which come with a skimpy sunshade of their own). At first I could not figure out how to get them to provide coverage - they would not stay stretched out past the hood of the Perego. I was about to return them when I realized that if the carrying handle of the car seat is stretched over the sunshade, it will stay down and provide the coverage that I am looking for. Problem solved!

This is a great product it keeps my baby in the shade. Before he was sneezing and squinting all the time know he can actually fall asleep again. We bought it shortly after moving him into a comfortable rearfaceing carseat. His infant carseat had a built in canopy that worked great and this is a great substitute for it on his convertible carseat.
