Easy Read
I really enjoyed the plot and characters. However I thought it was too short, a lot happened and because it moved at such a great speed with just over 200 pages, it felt like the story could have easily been longer. While the story had a good pace it was too complex for such a short book. The characters are so likable it seems a shame to almost shortchange them by rushing...

This book kept me engaged from start to finish. Lisa gets pregnant as a result of a one night stand. Minutes after telling Rex about the baby, her life and the life of her child is being threaten. Rex moves with Lisa during the investigation. Lisa begins to fall in love with the father of her baby. She is worried Rex doesn't feel the same way. They become closer and their relationship very predictable. But the story wasn't. The sense of Danger kept me interested. Despite the book feeling to short I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed it so much and I am looking Whitefeather's other novels. If you like suspenseful romances . This is a good choice for you.
