5.0 out of 5 stars works great on concrete cracks
This epoxy works well on concrete cracks. I made repairs to a concrete roof , cut open cracks , caulked them in with a standard caulk gun. Easy to use for any one strong fix for any thing.

2.0 out of 5 stars concrete anchoring epoxy
It was very difficult to use. The 2 cylinders are activated and mixed by squeezing both at the same time. The epoxy didn't come out easy and did not mix well. It took a few days to totally harden.

I used this product to anchor vertical rebar in a concrete footing to provide reinforcement for a stone wall. Epoxy is preferable to cement based products to avoid problems with expansion or contraction of the bonding material. This product was chosen for its relatively long cure time and because it can be used without a special gun. Many epoxies cure rapidly and/or require special tools. I wanted to be sure I would have plenty time to fill the holes and install the bars as desired. With regard to pull out strength, I can't comment on the actual performance in my application, of course, but it does cure as advertised and makes an apparently strong bond to the concrete and bar. If you believe the published product specifications, the product is suitable for many construction applications. If you require compliance with standards, note that as of August 2011 the product was NOT reevaluated for compliance with the Uniform Building Code, which was updated for earthquakes and broken concrete. Be sure to check the product Web-site for recommended hole depths and diameters for your application, and follow directions carefully to ensure relatively high pullout strengths.

As suggested by the product description, it can be used in a number of applications other than anchoring bars in concrete. I also used this product to repair broken sections of terra cotta drainpipe where gutter down spouts met the pipe at grade level. I used duct tape to hold the pipe in place while the epoxy cured. The results were very good.

The only drawback of this product as shipped is that it comes with two nozzles. Be sure to plan accordingly if you expect to be doing a number of small jobs. Nozzles for similar products may be available locally and might fit the cartridge.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fast and Hard, July 23, 2011

This stuff works better than anticipated. I could not locate a better product on the market for my need to repair cracks in the slab. You need a two part compound to obtain such a hard seal. I used this to seal a long 1/4" crack in the house slab. It worked well and hardened faster than stated, probably due to house temperature a little warmer than recommended. The epoxy seal is extremely hard. The tube comes with two nozzles. I used one and threw it away after patching all of the cracks I could find around the house.

I pressed out a small line to make sure it was mixed good. The next day I tried breaking it in two to see how strong it was. It didn't break. I ordered another tube.
