I bought this book to understand the computer science side of molecular biology. This book gives good treatment of the basics though if you are a programmer and want to get involved straight away, this book will be of little help. This book helped me understand some concepts, and pointed me to some of the tools and databases that are currently in use in the bioinformatics business. |
