I am a RN and I first purchased Proteque to use daily to protect my skin from drying and cracking associated with frequent had washing. Within one week, my hands were soft, smooth, and crack free. Now all the nurses I work with swear by Proteque.

When an out of town guest brought bed bugs into our home, my son had over 100 bites on his legs and arms. I applied Proteque to his bites and his itching went away immediatly. After applying the Proteque for several days, his bites cleared up. I have heard horror stories about the pain and itching involved with bed bug bites - thankfully I tried Proteque first and it worked immediatly...as advertised.

This product is amazing. I just wish it was less expensive and available in stores. 4 oz for $18 is quite a chunk of the wallet! My daughter has horrible eczema. I have only used this product two times but it has had amazing results. It treated the eczema overnight that she did have and has prevented new spots. I applied it last night and again this morning. She has a couple but nothing like if I had not put it on her this morning. I'm hoping that with this product, & other creams to supplement (since I would be broke if I had to buy this too frequently) that we might have found a way to relieve her itching.

I have had dry skin all my life, but particularly in the winter time. I tend to get dry pink patches of skin or bumps caused by dryness; at times it has gotten to be really painful. Nothing had worked in the past to solve my skin issues. And, I hated using thick creams or heavily scented lotions,particularly when they didn't seem to help much. Proteque has really made a difference, giving me relief from dry skin. I use it each day, applying in the morning. The bumps are gone and the redness is greatly reduced. Finally a product that has worked for me.

My son is now 9 months old and has only had diaper rash once (we were out of town and forgot the Proteque). We apply this product daily to his entire body as his moisturizer and it has made his skin ( and "bum") clear of any eczema and rashes. I highly recommend this product for infants especially since it is steroid free.

Tip: apply liberally.

This is a great lotion and it works fantastically, but I do not think that I would buy it again because of the price.

It's a very small bottle and it works, but when I need to spread it all over my legs, I start to worry that I'm gonna run out.

For my rash, nothing worked till I tried this. It has a skin barrier type effect. The indredients are Triclosan and Dimethicone. The Triclosan kills bacteria and the Dimethicone acts as a moisture barrier. Great stuff, razor burn, hydradentitis suppurative, burns, bug bites etc.

Proteque has been my answer to the prevention of pressure sores. Used daily and easily.

My boy got some bug bites ... it was a spider or bee .. we're not sure but we got this Proteque lotion because it is safe and non-toxic (he has allergies) and it worked great. Relieved the itch the pain and helped them heal quickly. Thanks
