An absolute must read for anyone attempting to understand the inner struggles and sacrafices of organizers in the Civil Rights Movement, especially the clergy, as they secured passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Professor Garrow is an awesome historian who has chronicled history in an enlightening and empathic manner. I HIGHLY recommend it!
