I would like to say this book single-handedly converted me back to Catholicism from being a former dyed-in-the-wool, hardcore Evangelical, but it didn't. It DID seal the deal, however. It thoroughly answered all those nagging questions I had about the Catholic Church and allowed me to return to it with a good conscience. My conversion took three whole years and I have not swayed from it since I came back to the Church. I STRONGLY recommend this book for any Evangelicals who are investigating Catholicism for any reason, because Fr. Fox definitively and clearly explains Catholic doctrine in all the areas Evangelicals have trouble with it, and in terms Evangelicals will easily comprehend.

Excellent gift book for a weak Catholic. This serves as an inoculation against the half-truths, propaganda,lies and/or just different view points of Protestant Theology. Written by a Catholic priest this is a recommended gift to those who come from or are being exposed to Protestant teachings through friends and/or are still not standing with both feet towards Catholicism. This book is somewhat comprehensive, easy to read and dispels many false notions about Catholicism. ***** Recommended
