Book Description

December 14, 2007 Sail to Win
There's nothing sadder than winning on the water, then losing in the protest room through inexperience. This book de-mystifies the protest procedure, so you can sail with more confidence and stand up for your rights.

The Book...
Protests & Appeals gives clear and detailed guidance on protesting, defending a protest, requesting redress, reopening hearings, and appealing.

No-one likes protests, and the last place to learn is at a major championship. This guide shows you what to expect, details how to conduct yourself fairly but effectively, and gives you the best chance of winning if you are in the right. It should be in the kitbag of every racing sailor.

The Series...
The Sail to Win books cover every aspect of competitive sailing. Written by world-class sailors and coaches, they are designed to take a competent sailor through the 'club racer' barrier to compete successfully in international fleets.
