This is a very good model. Other reviews say the hands don't hold very well but my model does very well. The only bad thing about it is it can't hold it's shield very well.

The master grade GP01-Fb is really a great gundam kit. This was the fifth MG kit that I had built, and it is one of the best. It's very poseable, and rather sturdy. The core fighter is magnificent! I just wish that I could display the core fighter, and the Gundam at the same time, but it doesn't have a core block like more recent kits do, so oh well. The kit overall is very well colored, and has a good amount of inner detail. The only real downsides to the kit are: the hands have trouble holding the beam rifle, and to truly make the kit look good, your going to have to do a little bit of painting. All of the thrusters need to be painted red, or the GP01-Fb just doesn't look right. Overall the positives far outwiegh the negatives,and the MG GP01-Fb is a spectacular model kit that I recommend to all Gundam enthusiasts!

I bought both the GP-01 and GP-01fb and I have to say that overall that this is a great kit, especially for this price. Overall, if you've put together the GP-01, the GP-01fb isn't really that different. It's the extra vernier thrusters and other little bits that did it for me. The core fighter looks quite good with the new verniers attached as opposed to the ones on the standard GP-01, so that's a plus for me. Some of me wishes that there could have been extra sprues to make a separate core fighter, but the other part of me is quite happy with the way that this turned out on its own, especially the fact that the core fighter fits so well inside the body. Like the GP-01, this was a good kit to put together, taking several hours without painting (which you don't have to do). The hands don't hold the weapons very well without some fiddling, and the shield tends to lose its gripping ability after removing a couple of times from the arms, but otherwise, no complaints from me. It's a very nice kit that will serve Gundam fans well and that I'm quite happy with. For under $10, you really can't go wrong with this kit at all. Thumbs up!

I have not assembled this kit yet but I have assembled a couple of Master Grades and others. In general this is a very nice kit and more if you are a Gundam fan. If you are new at this remember this is not an action toy but a plastic model so it is fragile.
And this time the price is low compared to other places so get one before they are gone!

Bought this MG model kit for the Gundam GP01FB as a gift. Great present with lots of detail and accuracy. The low cost was the best bargain for the buck.

Well i bought this kit because the Fb looks really cool with the big core fighter. It requires a little bit of painting to make it look good. My only complaint about the kit is that the eyes are to hard to see. You can paint them to make them look better but the head hides em. A little bit of sanding fixes that. This kit goes together really well. If you trim and sand the parts right it goes together really tight. No trouble with the hands or core fighter. It displays really well but its a space suit so it looks better posed in the air if your into that. In terms of out of the box building it does really well. for the price this is a great kit. Its loaded with detail the arms hold everything great, its well balanced because of the over sized feet they gave the model. The feet are to scale they were just big in the show. You want to grab this kit. Also you cant go wrong with the normal GP-01 for the price.

As has been stated, there is at least one glaring Injection Mold flaw. It is the junction between the "shin" armor plates. One leg has the proper male/female connections, yet the other leg does not. I personally overcame this by slicing down the male part flush with the armor, and simply pressing the two halves together. The other panel has a "cover" piece that hides the fact that there isn't a true connection underneath; it still holds wonderfully.

Overall, the Full Burner is an excellent kit. Lots of detail, and I personally love how the shoulder armor is positionable.

To address the Core Fighter cover stability:

This is of course a model, not a toy. For a model, it is quite sturdy but for a toy, it is not. Besides, since this kit came with only one core fighter, its really pointless to ever not have it installed... that is unless you plan on reenacting the battle over Von Braun!

I'm kinda dissapointed. Parts that should be a certain color are a different color and it doesn't look as cool. It takes a while to take out and put in the core fighter. hands don't hold weapons very well and shield is hard to pose with (it's too big.) the arms and legs are very stable and won't fall off, but the corefighter/body is a different story. Model kits aren't meant to play with, so it shouldn't fall apart if you don't play rough with it. the detail is AMAZING, it has lots of moveable parts, which is great!

Great Model requires no glue or paint however additional model painting customizes appearance.
