    5.0 out of 5 stars No Region Lock :) November 9, 2012
    Edition:Steam DRM|Verified Purchase
You can play it on steam without using any proxy or vpn services. It has no region lock like some games so you can play outside of USA with no problems, buy it now.

    5.0 out of 5 stars For 7.50? Heck Yeah November 13, 2012
    By CymTyr
    Edition:Steam DRM|Verified Purchase
I bought this pack for 7.50 on sale last week, and have only played Prototype 1 so far but it is easily worth that price. It's not often Activision puts its games on massive sales, if you're considering getting this pack and it's $15 or less DO IT.

Im not a very rich person so im always wait for games to go on sale. But I never ever thought I'll be able to get Prototype 1 & 2 for 9.99$ after 3 or 4 months its been released. these are great games.. thnx to Amazon i got the games now. This isn't a terrible game, but I feel that it's not a great one either. Protoype and Prototype 2 are pretty much the same, although I personally like the protagonist more in the second game. I was able to purchase both of these games for around $4.99 USD together in the bundle (on sale), so this wasn't a bad purchase considering what I paid for it. It should be noted that these are a console port to PC. So while you may be able to play these games with keyboard/mouse, it's much more proficient to play with a controller; I use an XBox 360 controller myself. I don't feel that this title is very innovative, but if you enjoy this genre - it's probably safe to guess that you'll like both games. The developer has since stopped making games due to major layoffs in 2012, so support for this game may be limited.

There is a known issue with the PC port of Prototype 2 that will cause the game to crash to desktop when attempting to load. Some users have reported that disconnecting their USB keyboards will resolve the issue. I was able to get (almost) past the initial loading screens by doing this, but, still crashed before the main menu. It appears the developer is no longer around so chances of a fix are slim. At this time, it's impossible to recommend this package as on of the games simply does not work. However, I owned Prototype 1 previously and it runs fine on PC.

    Update:
Contacted Amazon and they provided a refund due to the outstanding, known issues. Wont be able to enjoy Prototype 2 on PC but, at least I'm not out the money. YMMV

3.0 out of 5 stars Good budget pack
Bought it as an impulse buy and tried to play it via Steam; the online services are basically bust and it's just a roaming game.

3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting concept
Game play is at times neat and the concept of bio-engineering a body is indeed clever. However I didn't care a lot about the game play. Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Prototype 1 is sincerely a terrible game
I get what they were going for. It's supposed to be an action-packed, open-world take on the "dark superhero" category, but the controls are terrible and inaccurate. Read more
