    You can play it on steam without using any proxy or vpn services. It has no region lock like some games so you can play outside of USA with no problems, buy it now.

    I bought this pack for 7.50 on sale last week, and have only played Prototype 1 so far but it is easily worth that price. It's not often Activision puts its games on massive sales, if you're considering getting this pack and it's $15 or less DO IT.

    Picked up the original Prototype when it first came out on Xbox 360 and fell in love with the game. There's just something to be said about a game that lets you body surf in a way totally different from a concert, karate kick helicopters and tanks (take that Chuck Norris), and run track up a friggin skyscraper. Oh, and you're a living weapon. The story wasn't much and a few fights were tough, but the game was good. I eventually got tired of it though, but having it on PC now lets me keep playing without it taking up space on my shelf.

    Prototype 2 is more of the same, but necessarily in a bad way. Living weapon again, karate kicking tanks and elbow dropping strike team helicopters. And more body surfing. Haven't gotten far into the story for this one of personal reasons, the protagonist feels slower than Mercer was in the first game. Might be that I haven't leveled him up yet, but I prefer my characters to be speedy. While this guy is agile, he just feels a bit sluggish aesthetically. Still fun though, and his powers, while mostly the same as the first, still look new and intimidating in their own way. The only solid complaint I've got is graphics. The game's about 3 years newer than the first, and the graphics look about the same. This is all right for the most part, as I'm not a big stickler, but sometimes you gotta stop and appreciate your surroundings, and when you do it looks pretty muddled. Just saying that for three years later, they could've done better.

    Games are overall fantastically fun. And body surfing.

    First of all, great value for 9.99 during Black friday time. Second of all, these games are totally under-appreciated. Good simple RPG mechanics, not too overboard, but not just as simple as picking a generic path and getting skills automatically. The action and powers are fun, travel is a throw back to the old Xbox Incredible Hulk game; fast running and high jumping to cover distance. It kind of reminds me of a 3D Diablo or other hack'n slash, minus weapon drops, mixed with GTA IV (sandbox style).

    Story is not the best, at least in Prototype (haven't delved too far in Prototype 2), but the action is great. If you are not a fan gore, I would probably pass these up. If you are a fan, or it doesn't bother you either way, and you like action games. Worth checking out if the price is right. Not sure I'd pay more than $20 for both though.

    ++ good action
    ++ simple and easy to pick up mechanics
    ++ good middle ground rpg mechanics
    ++ fighting for no reason is repetitive, yes, but somehow fun

    -- generic story
    -- no high-res pack (at least Prototype 1)
    -- rehashed gameplay from other in the genre - do missions and side quests and just cause mayhem (you just get rewarded for it which is a ++)
