There is no real purpose behind anything they build.

The language is geared to ages 8+ in my opinion, but its entertaining and very educational.

Very disappointed that Discovery cancelled this after one season.

I recently heard about this show, and decided to take a sneak peak. After the first episode, I ordered the DVD.

This show is amazing, and most importantly, inspiring for people of all ages. These 4 guys are true hackers and 'tinkerers' coming up with great ideas for every day life problems (even though their prototypes are a few years ahead).

It's too bad that DC decided to cancel the show, but at least we can keep our own copies.

If you like computers, robotics, development, AI and a bunch of other geek things, you won't regret buying this!

Let me start by saying I absolutely love shows that explain how products are made - there are many such shows on television now that show the making of everything from exotic aquariums to household products. This show really failed to dazzle me though. None of the shows really spend enough time on any one thing to give you a good grasp on how it's actually planned and implemented, and much of the cast comes off as unprofessional and unprepared. I was hoping for either a profile of imaginative engineers or a DIY-lover's breakdown of events...I didn't get either in worthwhile amounts. This show is enjoyable enough I suppose, but I won't be finishing season 1 and I certainly won't watch season 2.

Our whole family enjoys watching these episodes. They are fun, creative and give a good look into a fast paced engineering.

Great show and loved the final product. I love to see creativity at its finest and see the end results. These guys had a good idea and I am sure that with the initial prototype, they can perfect their creation to get a final product closer to their original idea.

My son and I love to watch this show and talk about all the cool projects they take on. Please think about bringing this show back for another season.

I liked this series, but I think that more time should have been allowed for testing out the builds and less for the actual building. Perhaps the projects chosen were just too ambitious.

I enjoy this show, but can understand why the average person wouldn't. Liking this show definitely shows your a bit geeky.

Some of the protypes they do have a very promising use, but most of it is worthless and just playtime for the creators. I can't believe that someone would actually give them money to create useless junk like a giant boxing robot. I guess Discovery channel is hard up for programs to fill their time slots. Makes me wonder if I can create a crap program to sell to them.
