Imagine if Plastic Bertrand had a female singer and wrote 10 songs as good as Ca Plane Pour Moi, and put them all on one album. Each song is treasure for your listening pleasure, even if you cannot parle Francais.
Prototypes, like Le Tigre, Devo and the B-52's, make music powered with electronics that truely rocks. Only the best ideas from 80's pop-rock. Every song rocks, every song is tight, every song is brilliant. A perfect album.

I read a review about this album on a blog site and after downloading the free mp3 at the minty fresh web site, thought I would give the album a chance. WOW! I WAS BLOWN AWAY! It reminds me of M.I.A. meets Fantastic Plastic Machine and YEAH YEAH YEAHS. Its all in French, but don't let that scare you. IT IS ONE KICKER OF AN ALBUM! I LOVED EVERY SONG! CHECK IT OUT!

I bought Trenet because of the Absolut ad that uses "Boum." I bought this because ot the Mazda ad that uses "Je ne te connais pas."
That said, this CD really grabs you - there's not a single bad track. Highly recommended, even if you don't speak French.
