This appears to be a reprint of a book originally published almost 100 years ago. It certainly has value as a reprint of a classic treatise, but it has little value as a modern guide to identification of protozoa. The original title page appears to have been replaced with a new title page showing an ISBN and a 2003 publication date. Although the style and content reveal its age, the 1912 date at the end of the preface seems to be the only explicit hint in the book itself of its antiquity. If you're looking for a reprint of a classic work on protozoa, you will be happy with this book. If you're looking for a modern identification guide to protozoa, you will be disappointed.
