"Proud To Be a Colored Girl" is a collection of memoirs by many women of color, offering their thoughts and lives to give insight into what it really means to be a woman of color in today's society. Charming and enlightening, "Proud To Be a Colored Girl" is a solid and very much recommended read for women's studies collections everywhere.
