My favorite workout song,

I typically workout to fitness DVDs, but I decided to shake things up a bit and go to a gym on some nights. This meant spending quite a bit of time downloading songs to the ipod on my iphone...This is actually the theme song from the Biggest Loser that goes "What have you done today to make you feel proud?" but, even if hearing that theme doesn't inspire you to rev your workout suddenly subconsciously because you never watch the show, (if you do watch the show, there's no doubt it will) I think you'll still rev your workout. It's so upbeat, great fast beat, good lyrics that are motivational, excellent strong and deep vocals, and good music...it's obvious why it was chosen as the theme song for the top workout show. I was on the elliptical last night when this started playing from my shuffle of songs and not long after I looked down to see my heart rate had just increased dramatically...I was going faster than anyone else in that gym when I looked in the mirror! It tickled me because I wasn't trying to...this is just one of those songs that do something to you like the theme song from Rocky. It's part association, part musical beat... I found several songs on this album to download and they are geared to rev your workout due to the beat, words, etc. Cool compilation. |
