5.0 out of 5 stars To People who want to be a success -, December 18, 2002
By
Pierre Provost (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The 8 Proven Secrets to SMART Success (Paperback)
Peggy McColl in her book, The 8 Proven Secrets to Smart Success, is guilty
of sharing her life and success.

I particularly love her GoalMAPS. Just write your desired outcomes and
evaluate your achievements along the way. Establish your mission statement,
your goals, your time line, your priority, your status, your metric, your
resources and your milestones.

The first proven method to smart success is awareness. Now I've read about
this many times. And Peggy does a great job in writing about how to become
self-aware of your behaviors and emotions. Check your self-talk, remember
your positive outcomes, visualize your results and take action one step at
a time. Very smart suggestions.

Do you believe in yourself ? Do you have self-confidence ? Go to page 53,
read 20 easy ways to build your self-esteem. Here you'll find a gold mine full
of large nuggets that immediately transform your life.

Then read page 73 to 84 and discover the 4 powerful methods to build
absolute faith and certainty in achieving your desired outcomes.

Do you face any obstacles in your life ? Do the rich and successful face
adversity ?

Yes. But . . .

The rich and successful do not react the same way as the discouraged
and depressed who talk about failure. Here are the 5 key numbers on their
lock that opens the vault to a success response:

1. Don't make it bigger than it is.
2. Look for the gift.
3. Learn from it.
4. Look past it.
5. Be relentlessly persistent.

Remember how you did your home works and projects at school.
Do successful people wait till the last minute ?

You know the answer. Don't you ? And you're not guilty of course.
Learn what the successful people do by reading pages 101-113.

Finally she talks about how to become a master. If you love unconditionally
and without expectations, the master within you shines through.

I was very happy when I finished reading Peggy's book because I felt

I learned and reinforced my knowledge and behaviors. You'll get the same
feeling once you finish reading this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Attitude is key, February 18, 2003
By
Nicole Dunn (Ottawa, Ontario) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The 8 Proven Secrets to SMART Success (Paperback)
In the 8 Proven Secrets to Smart Success, Peggy McColl teaches us that success isn't so much a specific result as it is an attitude.

Peggy McColl's life experience has taught her to be attentive to attitude and she uses many personal experiences to demonstrate the ways in which attitude is a key predictor of success. The book's format provides an easy read for the busy, goal-oriented professional, providing the necessary building blocks for an excellent attitude: awareness, purposefulness, actions, confidence, faith, courage, studiousness and mastery. Peggy ensures that the reader is engaged by including meaningful examples, necessary exercises and memorable quotations. This is a book that the changing individual will use as a frequent reference tool to set a path, a wise guideline to encourage the mind and a reassuring checklist to judge progress.

I would recommend this book to any individual searching for new inspiration and assistance. It provides the sort of positive lift that is reminiscent of the feeling one gets from talking to their greatest supporter. This book simply assures that, by following these 8 Proven Secrets, readers will need to look no further than themselves for their greatest source of support!
