Well, wow. Just a delightful combination of detail, sketchiness, color and travel...I've read this over and over. No wonder artists want to go to Provence!

Like ALL of Maurice Fabreau's sketch journals, I find that they all are absolutely of the highest quality. I have most of them in my studio library and simply refuse to loan them to fellow artists, as often they find a way of getting 'lost' in the shuffle. The most recent Fabreau purchase, was his 'NEW YORK' journal and the work is simply stunning. I have created a series of art sketch journals since 1998, so I believe that I speak with authority.

If you can't make it to Provence in person..... Beautiful! Inspirational collection of an artists' wanderings. Moireau captures both the majestic and the mundane in ways that tell the whole story. The tidbits of information add an extra special touch. I'm not sure which I prefer -- the architectural pieces or the landscapes. Wonderful!
