This book is listed as a "topical guide for raising children from the book of Poverbs" and it is just that. I thought this book would provide more information about how each of the proverbs can be utilized to help with crucial issues that arise during parenting. The book simply organizes the proverbs into groupings such as "self-control" and "relationships". It would have been nice if the author provided more guidance about how the proverbs can be used to address real-life issues that face children and adolescents.

I love this topical guide! It not only was great to use for my children but was also great for me! I loved that I could go to the index and find each heading pertaining to spiritual issues. (Self-control, lying etc.) I think this is good for memorization as well!

This book is very helpful for those who are trying to raise children using Godly wisdom. The book is organized by topic, so you can flip to the topic that you may be dealing with and find proverbs addressing that issue. It is so very easy to use. I find it encouraging as well to read the proverbs in this order.

This book is sectioned by topic listing scripture that is relevant to the topic for teaching, encouraging, correcting, etc. I love that it is simply the Word of God. It's definitely a wonderful resource for myself as well when I know my heart needs some encouraging or correcting.

I found the book to be well-organized and very helpful. The author's introduction was concise but powerful. The book is a good help for parents in a society where the basic nuggets of wisdom embodied in the Proverbs is in danger of fading from our culture. As timely today as it was when the oft-acclaimed "wisest man on earth", King Solomon, first penned them.

Suitable also for use for personal devotions, topical studies of Proverbs, Bible Study and discussion, reading practice, a great gift to new parents or graduates...this beautiful bound treasure is a must for any book lover.
