Our vet prescribed this for our new kitten, who, although he was active and seemed healthy, had to deal with a bad case of the runs for several days. The doctor actually recommended that the contents of the capsules be sprinkled over food (especially for a small kitten). The paste syringe comes with a dosage regulating device on the plunger, which makes it easy and accurate to use. The first time giving it to the cat was tricky, but by the second time, I was able to administer a precise dosage very quickly and easily. Putting the medication on the food was no problem (obviously), and it did not affect our cat's appetite or put him off his food. Best of all, kitty's diarrhea stopped in about two days. That's worth five stars in my book.

Using this for a cat who is on strong antibiotics. The paste is very hard to get out of the tube so we put the paste onto a finger and scrape it on the cats upper palate, the capsules are way too large to give to a cat, so we are trying to open the capsule and sprinkle on food. Not sure this really works all that well.

I bought this product from my Vet after my cat had bad side effects from antibiotics. I wish I hadn't. It was a waste of $30 for the product and hours cleaning up 'accidents' from the cat. It is a 'paste' and a set of capsules. The paste looks OK, but my cat spit some out last night and when I cleaned it up I realized that it isn't really a paste as it is a grainy, oily something. It reeks of rancid oil. I shouldn't have been surprised since the main ingredient is soybean oil. After 5 days, my cat still has explosive diarrhea. I am going to go get her some yogurt tonight, throw away the rest of the paste, and keep going with the capsules just in case they might work. And call the vet and see if they will honor their satisfaction guarantee and give me my money back. Then I am just out a suffering cat and lots of carpet cleaning.

This is a great product. I have used it a couple of times. I had a puppy which had a sensitive system and would get diarhea from getting into different foods. I used the series once and never had to do it again. Used it again on an old dog with a sensitive system. Settled it down just fine.

This product is not packaged very well as it is hard to squeeze out what you need. By the time you have the paste ready the cat is long gone and hiding as he knows the paste is for him. I was very disappointed in the paste due to the difficulty getting it out of the tube. I haven't tried the capsules yet as I think they are too big to give to my cat. I wish I had not ordered this product.

I bought this for a cat that has had loose stools every since
i got her about 2 years ago. she has been to the vet several times
and we have tried several different medicines. she has tritrichomonas
and i was hoping maybe this would help. it didn't. if youe Cat just
has normal diarrhea this may be good, but for me was useless.
