One of my Favorites,

The heroine and her friend get tickets to go to a posh affair at which she meets the hero and behaves badly. This first meeting is highly entertaining. She makes a great escape from this event but the hero tracks her down. In return she must pretend that she is engaged to him to please one of his older relatives. What she doesnt know is that he has develpoed this ruse in hopes of making "the engagement" a permanent thing.
