The jean a ma jig solves the issue of sewing over he large bump in a hem on heavy jeans and other heavy fabric. It is swell.

I use this to get over the large seams when I hem my jeans-there is no way my machine would handle them otherwise. This is a must have if you sew thick seams!

I believe I gave a review on this item before,but this item was referred to me by a seamstress who did alterations for me in the past. She said it is a great item for heming jeans and going over really thick seams etc. I myself, haven't used it as yet, due to things being crazy over the summer. But come fall & the snow, I will definately be using it.
