Determined to make Beth McAllister, his best friend since kindergarten, fall in love with him, high school coach Scott Caldwell hits a snag when drop-dead gorgeous Michael Alexander arrives at Beth's bed and breakfast for the summer and begins a flirtation with her. Charming, manipulative Michael is not at all what he seems, and although all works out appropriately in the end, there are a number of twists and turns and much soul-searching first. Filled with a full complement of secondary characters and plots and featuring a warm, charming relationship between the hero and heroine, this gently paced story also features asides to God, places much emphasis on the Christian convictions of the various characters, and focuses on fundamental moral values. If you are a mother who has become a recent single mom or if you have been a single mom for sometime, this book is a must have, even if you are not religious. Lisa Hussey helps moms see themselves as the valuable gem that we are. She gives us strength where there is weakness, Light where there is darkness, and the courage to get on with our day, even when we feel that there is not another day that we can go on. This book helped to get me over the heartache of becoming a single mom, and the reality that I am one. It is for anyone who needs to recharge their heart, spirit, and soul. Enjoy...

WOW! This book is terrific. I laughed, I cried... "It moved me." I've placed an order for multiple copies.

All single moms find it difficult being a single mom. Ms. Hussey hits home with encouragement and empathy for what all single moms are going through. She writes beautiful psalms that can get any single mom through a hectic day. The book is both inspiring and insightful. I am sure that you will agree after you have purchased the book and read a few psalms yourself.
