Over ten yrs. ago, the Sunday School teacher of our elementary kids ordered 10 Psalty Kids Bibles for her class. They have been a great asset for our church. I often borrowed them for my 12th grade English class when teaching the unit on classical heroes in the Bible. My students loved them. Today they are the Bible of choice for the senior citizens Sunday school class. In fact, some have ordered their own. I can only sing praises for the Psalty Bible because it is "good for any age." We have given several of these away to celebrate a child entering the First Grade. Even upon growning up, the now young adults comment how much they loved receiving their Psalty Bible. Many children have grown up with the Psalty character teaching them music and stories. Great colors and illustrations go along with the stories of the Bible to make learning God's word more enjoyable and understandable. The cover is a hardback with a coating that helps protect the Bible and allow it to look good for several years. Look forward to giving these as gifts for years to come.

This is a good Bible for young children. It has extra stories and pictures throughout the bible to help children understand various scriptures. I'm an adult and I use it for reference.

My children are 5 and 7. This is their first Bible and they love it! I chose this Bible over all the other because it was a "real" Bible without any ethnically misrepresenting pictures. Psalty's devotions are great for you and your children to read together.
