I purchased this product because I was going on a cruise and suffer from extreme motion sickness AND I was in my third month of pregnancy dealing with morning sickness (all day). I was very concerned that our trip would be ruined by my doubly bad set of circumstances but these bands saved the day! They kept me feeling great all 5 days of the cruise. I continued to wear them after I got home for the pregnancy related sickness and they continued to be very effective. I would highly recommend these to anyone - very easy to use and completely drug free!

I have been SUFFERING through morning sickness for over a month now, and hoped these would help. They are a great idea. They can be adjusted not only by the wrist size, but you can also twist a dial which pushes the "button" closer to your pressure point. I thought I would like these more than the sea bands due to the fact that they can get wet and are adjustable. However, for me the plastic was uncomfortable and hurt. These are worth a try, but I would try both these and the Seabands and go with the one that works the best for you. I have found the SeaBands to work better for myself, but these are a better quality and are much more durable and customizable.

I have suffered from motion sickness for a long time and I hate taking pills b/c they make you sleepy. I discovered seabands (another brand) and was thrilled to find that they worked. When I saw these I was happy b/c I liked the idea that they were plastic and wouldn't get wet (when I was on a boat) were adjustable (in case your hands/wrists swelled) and slightly fasionable.
well they do work so TRY them if you suffer at all from morning sickness, motion sickness, even altitude sickness. However these bands in PARTICULAR do not provide your wrists with much mobility which I did not like. So I might suggest other other bands that have elastic cloth in them. They may be ugly but you won't suffer. Trust me it is worth a try.

The Real Results for All Day Pregnancy Neusea,
By
This review is from: Psi Bands Drug-Free Wrist Bands for the Relief of Nausea (Health and Beauty)
SHORT REVIEW Buy it!!! It's worth the cost of the 3 coffees' you can no longer drink anyway. Works well but not perfect. Ends the majority of your nausea, however you may have lingering queasiness, nothing nearly as debilitating as you would experience without them on. It allows for you to go on with your day-to-day activities without having your head permanently in a bucket. LONG REVIEW O.K. So here is my experience with these bands. First of all, this is my second pregnancy and the thought of going through what I went through with my first was depressing to say the least. I happen to be one of those wonderful people whom vomited her entire 9 months I was desperate to try anything in order not to repeat that scenario, so at the onset of nausea 5 weeks with baby number 2 I read every site related to controlling my nausea. I saw that these bands in one form or another were recommended, so of course I ran out the next day to buy some I purchased these over the other bands because they were a bit more fashionable. Anyway I had to adjust the bands several times until I got it just right to where I guess it is actually on my pressure point correctly, finally after an all day constant adjustment period it works. It takes about 2 hours to kick in for me but its worth it. Now while it ended most of my nausea to where it is now tolerable, I still have a bit a of queasiness but it is really worth the money trust me, with out this I would be unable to leave my bed and bucket, with this I can at least keep up with my 2 year old. WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME THIS WITH BABY #1 ( sorry had to vent, I am a foodie and hate not being able to eat) The 2nd thing don't think that if you have a severe nausea problem like myself that you will be able to eat whatever, NOT just eat ONLY what does not make you nauseous onsite, This baby has turned me into a temporary vegetarian versus baby #1 and a steak eating carnivore. Bottom line it is worth giving a shot and having a little of your life back, if it doesn't work at least you didn't break the bank. (Yes I was scheduling an acupuncture appointment, before purchasing these, but may hold off and save the money for the baby now.) And I will try the preggie pops as one reader suggested and let you know how they work By the way I am a motion sickness girl also and these seemed to continue to work when in the car. Ciao

I purchased these well over a year ago with great skepticism, I might add. However, since I have had some positive experiences with acupressure, I decided I might as well give them a try for "motion sickness" (plane, boat, train, subway, playground merry-go-round - you name it). I first tried them out on an 8 hour driving trip. No nausea. None. In fact, none even when I READ IN THE CAR!! I have NEVER been able to do that. I read for hours - magazines, books....no problem. Next I gave them a try on the rollicking subway....stomach calm as could be for the entire trip. I was sold. I used them many times for these things with great success. But then - the unexpected. My husband and I were hit with a bout of food poisoning. I was sick. REALLY sick. Toward morning, as I lay in bed, miserable as could be and trying hard not to (yet again) SPRING UP out of bed heading for the bathroom...I was wracking my brain, trying to come up with SOMETHING (anything!!) to help myself feel better - and "BINGO!" ..I thought of my bands! Not expecting much I put them on and laid back down. In less than FIVE minutes, I had no nausea whatsoever. Why didn't I think of them sooner??? Who knows how or why they work! Or why they work for me, but not others. All I can tell you was that it was an EXTREMELY wise investment - and worth risking a few dollars to find out if they would do the trick. I'm sold. In fact, I'm ordering a spare set, one for my husband (for an upcoming boat trip) and one for my daughter!

Does provide some relief, but is flimsily made.,

As far as the relief offered, it does definitely seem to provide some relief. I know that is going to vary from person to person, so I'm not making my primary judgement based on that. It's comfortable enough (although you will want to give the pressure point a break after a while) and can be worn for extended periods of time without having to remove them thanks to the plastic design (most other comparable products seem to be made of cloth of some kind).
My main problem with the PsiBands is that they are very flimsy. After one day the adjustment dial began to come away from wristband. It's basically just a piece of plastic held in by a groove. The problem is that when you go to adjust it, sometimes it will come out of the groove. Not only does that seem cheap, but I'm pretty sure it minimizes the effectiveness of the bands since the "activator" (the part that applies pressure to the Nei Kuan pressure point) is now angled. After another day it came off completely. There's a small piece of plastic inside that basically adjusts the extension of the "activator" and it fell out completely. Fortunately it's easy enough to put back together, but it was a bit disappointing, to say the least. As far as functionality, it seems to do what it's supposed to do, though not as dramatically as I had hoped in this case. That said, any relief is welcome, so my real disappointment was with the build quality of the wristbands. I'm not going to be pleased with any purchase that starts falling apart after a day or two.

Relief from morning sickness,

I bought these because I was willing to try ANYTHING to get some relief from my all-day morning sickness. I was a little skeptical. But like I said, I needed relief. Ended up wearing these all day/everyday for about a month - just removing them while sleeping/showering because they are a little uncomfortable after a while. When I started feeling better, I figured it could be the bands or it was just psychosomatic - either way, I found some relief!
As I am nearing my 2nd trimester, I figured I didn't need them as much anymore. I haven't worn them in two days. Let me tell you, I feel horrible!! These bands are going back on my wrists ASAP! These bands work for me! It isn't all in my head.

I ordered these bands for myself and my daughter for our upcoming cruise, as I was more afraid than certain of seasickness. I wore mine all the time (except when sleeping) and never felt any sense of seasickness at all, although we did have one rough morning. My daughter wore hers for a while and then took them off but she put them back on when the decks were rolling more than usual, and never felt bad.
I don't know how it works, but it does! Highly recommended.

Wish this had worked for me.,
This review is from: Psi Bands Drug-Free Wrist Bands for the Relief of Nausea (Health and Beauty)
I am sad to say that these did not work for me. I think it is great that it has worked for others, but am the one person that actually got more nauseated when wearing the bands. I guess it is still worth a try because you might be a lucky one who can get through the morning (all day) sickness with the help of these. Again, unfortunately I was not one of these people. Good luck.
