If you are an adult with Psoriasis - you know that one of the major suffering is trying to get treatment that is effective and does not create other side effect conditions. Once I was asked to sign a release form for treatment that freed the practitioner from resposibility for the possibility of my contracting liver cancer. When I refused to sign the nurse told me point blank that if she had my condition she would risk any illness to get rid of it. This doctor was a well known pioneer of main stream treatments used today."Psoriasis" by Hilary Bower brings together current knowledge in a precise way. It is written more from a European point of view and combines information from drug technology, therapeutic practises, nutrition, mental and emotional health, homeopathy, and accupressure. This is a slim book of 134 pages that has helped bring together what I have learned from my own experience and research, my visits to some 20 or more medical doctors and about ten years of seeing around ten alternative practioners. I found it in the library and now I am buying it, because I need it with me daily to learn to be healthy. |
