A newer more accessible Tarot,
This review is from: The Psycard System: The Great Game of the Human Heart; 40-Card Deck (Cards)
This deck of 40 cards offers a new method of divination and meditation. The cards draw on common themes from Celtic, Christian and other mythologies, on images from the world of fairytales, and on the concepts of the Jungian archetypes to enable the user to gain deeper insights into situations and characteristics. There are 5 main categories within the cards - directions, fundamentals, symbols, archetypes, characters and happenings. This deck of cards is particularly user friendly, in that each card can have a personal meaning for the inquirer or for the subject of the reading. Each card may also have a 'face value' reading or stand for its opposite, and throughout the pack this theme of the duality of human nature (light and dark, male and female, conscious and unconscious) is apparent. These cards are an excellent tool for 'psychic workouts' and really deserve to be better known than they are!

My favourite non-tarot deck,

This deck quickly became my favourite for reflection (reading for myself). The cards are meaningful and artistically done, and speak directly to the reader without a need for studying anything beyond the little white book. I still suggest buying the book written by this deck's creator, Nick Hobson, though the only way I know of to get it is by buying it from the author. Two of my friends to whom I recommended this precious little deck have quickly fallen in love with it, and use it as often as they use their tarot decks. This book is one of my highest recommendations to card readers.

My mother-in-law bought me my first deck of these cards. I was just getting into tarot at the time and right off these were my very favorite cards. They are very easy to understand. They quickly became my friend. My father had died a few months before I had gotten the cards, and there were several instances where I used these cards to quickly determine and clarify if my father was in the room with me, talking to my children, or any other question I had. I also use the cards to "communicate" with my father who can't speak or decides NOT to speak to me on any regular basis. These cards have come through for me many times!!!!!!! It is not at all difficult to quickly form a bond with them. They are colorful, very easy to read, and very addicting! They work!

I appreciate that these cards lend themselves to quasi-tarot readings... but I think that the cards have an even more powerful purpose. Based on the format for the "Answer Cards", I have the questioner shuffle and lay out ALL the cards in any pattern they want (although I have found that 8 cards in 5 rows works well). The questioner does all the 'reading' of the cards. I just notice patterns and ask questions.
"Did you notice that your card (The Inquirer)is located at the bottom/top/right-side/etc of the grid? What does that mean, for you?" "How close is your card to the card that you identify as your goal? What cards are between you and your goal? Are they steps? Or Obstacles?" My questions are gentle and sparse. I don't know the meanings of these particular cards for this person... only she/he does, hence, no point in my 'reading' the cards for them. It's an interesting relationship that forms between the Questioner and myself. There's a therapeutic atmosphere but also a curious/playful one. Insightful. Satisfying.

We have a pack of these cards and my husband who generally is not known for his hippy new-age nature is really good with them. You have to use your imagination and your knowledge of the person that you are doing the reading for, but he has been very acurate many times. Haveing said that I am useless with them, unlike the other review I can't talk to my dead dad, I wish I could, but they are beautiful pictures and just looking carefully at the detail in them slows me down and allows me to think a little more clearly on life so in that way they work.

I love this deck!,
This review is from: The Psycard System: The Great Game of the Human Heart; 40-Card Deck (Cards)
I was introduced to this deck by a medium who did a 'soul' reading using these lovely little cards. She did a wonderful job during the reading. Having intuitive skills myself, I was impressed so much, I had to have my own deck. They are wonderful! I was instructed by the medium to form my own interpretations of the cards and to NOT read the booklet that comes with it. Believe it or not, thats the best way to use the cards. So toss the booklet. All I can say is these cards have never failed to give me the exact answers needed for whomever I am reading. Love these cards!!

We bought the pack two years ago. After having used the cards for many times, we feel that the cards have become dear, wise friends. They never fail to give us clear and loving answers. All confusion disappears, after having asked them for help.

I love to play around with tarot but when I get serious with them, they become a form of prayer. A friend introduced me to these (psycards) and said they're are like having your own psychologist! They give insights that tarot doesn't. I love'em!!!The Psy-Cards System

These cards are beautiful and the details really help to help you interpret meaning. There is a little booklet to explain the meaning of each card if you are a complete novice. All I can say is that even with the simple card layout, the amazing readings that were coming out of the card were amazingly accurate. These cards are a lot simpler than the full deck of tarot cards, but the reading was just as insightful. I am real ypleased with these cards. Now me and spirit guides can have more fun in communicating.
