If you're a fantasy fan, this book will be your new favorite. It's full of humor, drama, action, and a bit of horror. Some parts are terrifying. Some are tear-jerking. Some are hilarious. All are awesome.
The first time I read it, before it was picked up by a publisher, was on a free-book website, and I read it on my 2"x3" phone screen, through the website's app. The whole book. Before I even discovered that this app has a full website that I can read from a laptop. :) Yes, that's how enticing and exciting I found this story. I had been hoping for months that it would be published, because a story this good is one that I need to hold in my hands and see on paper. So why would buy a book that I've already read? Because it's THAT AMAZING. In fact, I bought THREE paperbacks. One to keep and two to give to friends to spread the word. I can't WAIT to get my hands on the next installment. There's no way for me to describe how great this book is. Just read it. Seriously. DO IT.

OMG! WHERE ARE ALL THE OTHER GLOWING REVIEWS. Well let me be the "first". Jack is my fav character. When confronted with this wild gift he reacts like a real teenager not like a character.

If you're looking for something very light, that doesn't require a lot of thought, this is the book for you. It's competently written, lacks any plot holes, and has clearly drawn characters and a clear sense of conflict. The plot escalates well, building up to the major show-down at the end.

However, if you like the sort of book that prompts deeper thinking, that you can really delve into, then this won't offer what you're looking for. This book doesn't have anything going on below the surface. It uses a lot of common archetypes (a protagonist with better/more extensive powers than has ever been seen before/a prophesied "chosen one"/ a conflict between empathetic good guys and violent, unmotivated bad guys). The humor style was broader than I tend to relate to, and I found the characters uninteresting.

I'm pretty new to the free book thing, and I can honestly say this is the best free book I've "bought" from Amazon. Unfortunately, that's a case of damning with faint praise. I'd call this more of a 2.5 star book, but since Amazon doesn't allow half-stars, I called it 2 stars. Would not pay for the sequels.

This book is amazing. It has every genre in it. It has comedy, horror, the romance in it is absolutely hilarious. It sad and happy.

Everytime I pick up this book I am amazed by what I read and wonder how in the word does the author come up with these ideas.

My favorite character is Alana Harris probably because I'm a mom. This woman absolutely rocks. I also love Paro mainly because he is young and is so intelligent and I admire that. I love every character.

Outstanding book.

I read this book and am in the middle of the next one. I've also read another series by this author. I love how his brain works and the characters he has created. Jack's personality is hillarious, and the action in the book is awesome. I love super powers and this book has plenty. It's a really fun read!

I loved this book! I'm always happy to read novels by new authors, mainly because I like to support the little guys, but I truly enjoyed this. I've been geeking-out about it ever since I finished reading it. Its one of those books you get excited over; that have you turning to the next page and reading more, even if its two in the morning and you have to be to work in four hours. I can't wait to see what else this author has in store for us!

This is one of the most promising books I've read in a long time. A long, long time. A lot of recent publications have left me feeling rather disappointed lately, even a few of the series I've followed religiously. This book has given me back my enthusiasm for words.

The books I love are the ones me and my friends can spend hours talking about - speculating, discussing characters and potential powers and such - and PIE has done just that.

The characters are all different and relatable, each with their own quirks that when combined with the intriguing plot Kevin has carefully crafted make an amazing experience. Is it wrong that one of my favourite characters is a villain? I certainly don't think so.

I've read P.I.E four times already and I'm still not bored of it. [I feel like I need to say here that I read a lot, and as such, I read very fast. I've also been following him on Wattpad for a while.] I'm still wanting to know what happens, what this master of words is going to come up with next. I'll be following this series until the end.

Congratulations Kevin, you've earned a spot on my bookshelf. I look forward to reading whatever you come out with next. I could continue like this all day, but you'll just have to buy it yourself to find out how good it truly is.
