My grandson was diagnosed as having a bi-polar condition, the prescribed drugs only exacerbated his lack of control. This book convinced his parents to question the effectiveness of that medication, he was taken off the drugs, improvement was immediate and 3 weeks later he was back to a normal 18 year old young man.

It's refreshing to have a book from a honest psychiatrist give honest insight into the the disabling brain function that occurs with psychiatric drugs.
