This review is from: Psychiatric Secrets, 2e (Paperback)
I like the secrets series, especially psychiatry and medicine. The "Psychiatric Secrets" is easy, quick read with solid information. It covers topics that are not well covered in most other pocket books, such as psychopharmacology in pregrnancy, nursing, elderly, and children. It's surprising how much information is contained in this little book. It even has sections on couples and group therapies. The medication sections are good with helpful info on interactions. Although several years old, it contains important fundamental information. But still, maybe it is time for a new edition. |
