Recommended for Psychiatry
I found this book extremely useful in my preparations for USMLE Step-2.It's a very comprehensive text of psychiatry,covering almost all important topics required for Step-2.It has a lot of board style questions which really helps analyze especially for foreign medical graduates who really don't've a good foundation in Psychiatry.It's very useful for American graduates...

Needs Updating
The BRS Series is great for its comprehensive outline-type review. BRS psych is good, but is in desparate need of updating. At this point, I wouldn't recommend ANYone buy it because some of the information is actually now incorrect. The pharmacology section is hopelessly out-of-date.

The BRS Series is great for its comprehensive outline-type review. BRS psych is good, but is in desparate need of updating. At this point, I wouldn't recommend ANYone buy it because some of the information is actually now incorrect. The pharmacology section is hopelessly out-of-date.
