THE INFINITIES OF MIND,
By Dr. Ron "Dr. Ron Dalrymple" (Florida) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Psychic Discoveries (Paperback)
When researching my new book, Quantum Field Psychology, I found this timeless volume by Schroeder and Ostrander to be of great assistance in rounding out the research I was pulling together. I spent three years teaching college overseas in Asia and Europe, researching these concepts in order to produce this mind-shattering theory. It has the scientific community shaking their heads at me and asking, "Who is this guy Dalrymple?"
I don't care, you have to call it the way you see it. The same way Schroeder and Ostrander did decades ago. They showed tremendous courage in publishing their book, and have suffered both praise and vicious attacks because of it. The problem with many scientists is...they aren't very scientific. They forget to be open-minded, they forget to follow the evidence, instead of their egos. They forget to forget their tenure, their reputations, the pictures and frames on their walls, and just search for the truth. Psychic Discoveries was a tradition-shattering book when it was first released, and it still is today. It offers many great examples of psychic research done in Eastern Europe and Russia, still widely unaccepted today in the West. It presents a basis for understanding that the mind really is an energy field, which transcends the physical brain. But these concepts had to be refined and put into a more scientific form, into a model of presentation that makes sense, and will help others listen and finally see. This fine book helped me create such a model, and I heartily thank the authors for it. If you buy this historic book, keep it in your personal library for all time. Much of what is directly and indirectly predicted will one day become commonplace. I greatly recommend it. Dr. Ron Dalrymple/Psychologist/Coach/Author of Quantum Field Psychology/www.deogenesis.com

The BEST book on Soviet Psychic Discoveries,
By A Customer
This review is from: Psychic Discoveries (Paperback)
I've included some quote reviews and books at the bottom of my review. This version is the abridged first book "Psychic Discoveries Behind the Iron Curtain". Plus it's the updated account, "The Iron Curtain Lifted." I've recommended this book to numerous This should be the text book for any *serious* study of Psi abilities. There are pictures in the center of the book showing some of the Russian Psychics (Wolf Messing) and PK experts. Plus Kirlian photography, acupuncture points, dowsing, etc. The book also discusses the US program of Remote Viewing and the work being done at the Stanford Research Institute and the CIA... etc. Here are a quote reviews found on/in the book: "The most important book about ESP research and the validity of the occult tradition yet to appear." - Los Angeles Times "One of the most exciting and awesome books ever to come our way. Ostrander and Schroeder have done an outstanding job... the monumental amount of research and condensation is staggering." - The Indianapolis Star "This book's sheer dynamite!" - Rocky Mountain News "A serious, objective attempt to compile the findings of research into psychic phenomena in the USSR." - Chicago Daily News "One of the most exciting books on psychic research to come to my attention in a great many years" -Hugh Lyn Cayce, Director Edgar Cayce Association "This book should make waves right up to the Pentagon..." Kirkus Reviews If you are interested in what the Chinese are doing then To learn about the USA Remote Viewing program: Remote Viewers : The Secret History of America's Psychic Spies Mind Trek - Joe McMoneagle Stargate Chronicles - Joe McMoneagle Captain of my Ship, Master of my Sould - F. Holmes Atwater One more quote: "An eye-opening, fascinating, sometimes frightening and occasionally hard-to-believe book...The Russians are actually investigating ESP and it's use. The authors are utterly serious, so are the Russians." - Publishers' Weekly

Where is the American info?,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Psychic Discoveries (Paperback)
I'm just completing the original 1970 version of this book and am amazed at the openness of the Russian scientists to share their work in this area. They take the paranormal as a serious science and study it from many aspects with total respect for their subjects. There is a stark contrast from the Western methods even back in the 1960s. Was that because the Americans were hiding their knowledge or were truly that ignorant on this topic, at least for the public's perception. One only needs to look at the disgrace of MK-Ultra to see how our government tried to perform psychic experiments to include drugs and hypnosis on unwitting citizens. Russia asked for volunteers and approached what appears to be a very well thought out and deliberate development of psychic abilities and documentation of their findings. I'm looking forward to the additions of the updated book since our relationship with Russia has changed in terms of politics and diplomacy.
