I have read quite a few books on psychic skills and energy work but this is by far the best book on the subject. If you are interested in learning how to develop and control the energy that resides in all of us, this book will help. It includes basic exercises to help you feel and control this energy. It gets an A+ in my book.

I have never found any guide to energy work as practical, easy to understand and use as this one. Step by step exercises and inhanced photography will impress even the most skeptical readers. I've found it an invaluable teaching resource.

This workbook, though a little dated, is a great place to start if you're looking to develop your psychic skills. This book is notable in that, while concerning a subject of interest to people of "alternative" religions, it does not present its ideas within any sort of spiritual or religious context. This is helpful if you are, say, a Christian interested in psychic skills, but are put off by the many books that present the topic with a within a Pagan/Wiccan framework.

This workbook, while slim, has 56 exercises in all. It starts with simple exercises like learning how to perceive and send psychic energy, then progresses to learning to cleanse yourself of what the authors call "psychic dirt," and learning to send and perceive certain emotions, colors, and musical tones. Then the book turns to psychic self defense and advanced group exercises.

Most of the exercises require you to have a partner, though some you can do alone. If you don't have someone to do the activities with, then this book will be pretty useless!

The exercises are very well explained in simple, clear language. Also, it has very useful illustrations. While the exercises are not confusing, the photos can help you see what you're supposed to be doing/visualizing.

I would very highly recommend this book to anyone looking to develop their psychic skills. While you probably won't be able to read minds or bend spoons across the room after going through this workbook, you will, most likely, be able to get a reading on peoples' feelings and energy levels and know how to keep others from draining your energy. This, I think, could be very helpful for business people, teachers, therapists, public relations people and many others.

The book was only $.25 and the shipping was more. It was in good condition and saved me lots of time in money in replacing this book in my library.

I hate giving bad reviews, but I love telling the truth. This book is full of techniques that any practicing Occultist will have mastered long ago. It's nothing new or interesting, nor anything particularly innovative. The only use I can find for this book is as a self-teaching tool for those with no experience in energy working. If you've worked energy succesfully before, just skip over this one and go for a more useful book.
