I teach a class called "Enhancing your Psychic Abilities" so I'm always doing research through books and media looking for ways to add quality education, and skills to my class. After I checked this book out of the library...okay, everyone's felt this way... I was tempted to "lose" it - it was so intriguing... had to have it. I have read so many books on the subject, and this is full of valueable knowledge that isn't all fluff. WONDERFUL BOOK... worth every cent and then some!

I'm impressed, and I don't impress easily. I've read zillions of books in the area of spirituality, psychic development, altered states of consciousness, and the like. There's a lot of filler out there. Ridgeway, however, is a wonderful writer--wise, down-to-earth, witty, soulful--and his ideas and exercises are creative. You will not find another book like this in this field. Don't let the material on the cover fool you into thinking this is merely another book about how to read cards or palms: This is a book about how to live more fully. He's after nothing less than the expansion of your soul and the liberation of your wildness! In the process--yes, yes, yes!!!--you will become more psychic! Enjoy!

This book is just wonderful. I have read hundreds of works on the art of personalizing psychic phenomena; this author gets right to the heart of the matter. Being psychic is more than just parlour amusement; it's a responsible, fantastic journey. The author explains many ways that an individual can explore the depths of perception that lay in the field of energy surrounding the reader. He tells you how to "flesh" out the details and decode the meaning. His style is readable and enticing. Worth twice the price of admission!

. . . here is the book that will show you how. This book shows how all of us already have psychic ability and learn how to develop it. The author has a thorough understanding of sensitivity and demystifies the subject, giving practical suggestions and simple exercises to strengthen our innate perceptions. He teaches the reader to trust themselves and teaches us how to do it. Everyone should have this in their library. I loved this book, I recommend it all the time.

Reading this book is like tapping into your psyche. It gives the reader a step by step guide to seeking out their inner selves; and teaches them how to use this knowledge in their every day lives. You will find yourself doing things from the book without really thinking of them. As you read on, the words and their meanings become more clear. The author puts complicated ideas and messages into words even the novice reader can understand and use. You will learn to guide your life down the right path. You will be able to decide what things in your life are truly changeable by you. You will learn to enhance your own feelings, as well as those around you. You will learn to have a closer relationship with your mate. The exercises in the book will make you aware of the existence of your true powers. I have experienced this through automatic writing. Not everyone will experience a connection with every chapter; but if you open yourself up to the possibilities, you will find something that will stay with you for the rest of your life. I have experienced many of the things the author describes in this book; and only after reading the words on paper did I realize that I had had a psychic experience. Everyone has psychic powers within them; and through books such as this one we can learn to use them to experience a life that is profound and enlightened, a life we are truly meant to live.

I am in awe of this book as I am in awe of the remarkable young man who wrote it. Andrei is "the real thing" and he gives away the psychic's secrets so that each of his readers can get in touch with their elemental souls and see life the way it was meant to be seen before the advent of modern ways. This book is a joy to read! Andrei's prose flows easily through your mind leaving warm feelings and a sparkling trail of wisdom. Through simple exercises and suggestions of poetry and music, he leads you through a gradual reawakening of that inner joy, that wide-eyed wonder that all of us had as children. He returns you to the primal understanding of the mysteries of life - and shows you the beauty that only waits for an open heart and mind.

This is without a doubt the best book I have read on the subject of regaining and enhancing one's psychic power, and I recommend it to you with the greatest enthusiasm!

I'm at the age of sixteen and have read dozens of books on how to develop your psychic intuition. Some helped but Andrei's book did it for me. Not only that, it opened up a COMPLETELY NEW world to me. No doubt it will for you. If your looking or trying to start up your psyche, get this book. It will be the only one you will ever need. I'm sixteen and am a pyschic myself. But then again you are too. This book will prove it.

I am a psychic myself and felt drawn to explore Andrei Ridgeway's book/guide to increase one's psychic awareness. I was surprized to find that all of my own metaphysical experiences throughout my life were all tucked away into a neat little book that I wished I had been able to buy 10 years ago. I found all of the excercises which I had to discover on my own, to increase my telepathy, were written in a guide of the author's own experiences. I am happy to know a book, which is an open and honest account of true psychic experience is available to millions of people to awaken their own inner guide in a fun and simple way. I also appreciated the author's ability to bring a sense of spirituality into the metaphysical experience which, I don't find in many other psychic books. I found the author to write as though he was actually talking to the reader. This to me is a reader friendly book to help one awaken their own psychic world in a fun and interesting way, as well as open their minds to a fascinating experience. I recommend this book highly to anyone interested in opening their own awareness.

this is a very wonderful book which i ever read about psychic development. some books give pages after pages of theory, some give heaps of exercises, but this book balances both. the exercises merge with the text very nicely and are very realistic to do. i love this book and so will you. if you looking for just one book of psyche, this is the one!!

I got this book a while ago and it didn't grab me at first (it also had a really ugly cover, not the one you see on Amazon, so...marketing helps), but once I decided to sit down and read it cover to cover, loads of information jumped out at me. I think the best thing about this book is how Andrei really points out that the psychic world and our abilities are normal, everyday things. It's very practical. It also is extremely honest and fresh. I like how there are exercises, but they are only suggestions. It isn't a "program" to follow, but if you need guidance, he offers some. One thing I really connected with--he mentions that often when we meet our mate, we feel like we've known them forever. Often it's because we very well may have dreamed or traveled somehow and met our mates when we were much younger. I don't remember any specific instances, but I've always had a very clear picture of my partner as a teenage boy--around 14. I feel like I know that boy, and when I met him for the first time, it was like meeting someone I had met somewhere else, somewhere secret, like another world or something. Anyway, I love how Andrei makes everything make total sense. It didn't grab me at first, but then again, its lack of pretention and buzz words proves refreshing once you decide to sink in. Oh, and I found this out AFTER I read the book, and it has nothing to do WITH the book at ALL, but I thought I'd mention it: check out his picture...rrreggle...I wish I had a dvd of him reading the book to me!
