If you are anxious for whatever item or merchandise you may be looking to purchase, DON'T STOP HERE!!! These people deffinately do not get in a hurry here. I ordered 5 books on the same day, 1/30/11. I recieved four of my books within the first week. It was 3 weeks before I finally recieved this book. The product was as described when it FINALLY arrived.

This was Choquette's book which was mid-wifed by her close friend Julia Cameron and followed the 12-week format of the Artist's Way. Anyone new to the psychic world of diving the future will be helped in their ability to understand what they are going through. Psychic experiences are real and often frightening ... so getting guidance is a must. Choquette talks about the religious block that prevents many from cultivating and discipling their gift. The only thing lacking in this chapter is, and Choquette herself claims to have Catholic roots, some guidance on working with the spirit realm. Not all spirits, according the New Testament, are to be listened to. The bible acknowledges spiritual gifts of prophecy and healing which are to be used to raise the church. Choquette does not make this distinction known which is imperative when beginning to work with spirit guides. Divination practices will open a portal into the spirit realm and one must use discernment. This book would have been much better had this been explored in more detail.

My final apprehension with The Psychic Pathway is that Choquette attracts many clients through it and also charges $1600 USD for personal psychic mentoring using her own book. While this is valuable on one level it is a bit much and does send the message that to be a guide requires a certain economic status. Gifts of prophecy, according to Christian scripture, are from the Holy Spirit. Last I checked ... none of the prophets had to pay money to see ... I agree with Choquette that it is important to be trained what to focus on ... but when that training costs rival that of a University course it begins to sound controversial.

Final Thoughts on Sonia as a spiritual teacher which applies to all spirit-based teachers, and since Sonia seems to protray herself as a Christian/Catholic-Orthodox I'll use from her religious tradition:

(Sirach 37:7-9 on caution in taking advice)

All counselors praise the counsel they give

But some give counsel in their own interest

Be wary of a counselor

and learn first what is his interest

for he will take thought for himself

So ..... Sirach 37:12-15 offers this additional guidance

Instead, associate with a religious man, who you are sure keeps the commandments; Who is like-minded with yourself and will feel for you if you fall.

Then, too, heed your own heart's counsel; for what have you that you can depend on more?

A man's conscience can tell him his situation better than seven watchmen in a lofty tower.

Most important of all, pray to God to set your feet in the path of truth.
