3.0 out of 5 stars Reading, requires an open mind. Interesting concept.
Interesting reading for those who can accept that which 'could' be. Content must have taken years of research. I've read articles by author in Omni Magazine. He is intelligent, and well educated. To poo poo this subject matter, is to deny the possibility that the two subjects could be related. Remember, at one time everyone thought the world was flat! This book...

5.0 out of 5 stars Original reading for students of metaphysics & UFOlogy, April 6, 2000
This review is from: The Psychic Sasquatch: And Their UFO Connection (Paperback)
The Psychic Sasquatch And Their UFO Connection is the result of years of personal research conducted by Jack Lapserits on the Sasquatch (sometimes referred to as Bigfoot), a huge apelike creature with a hairy body. Lapseritis conducted numerous interviews with men and women who had come into contact with these creatures. Some of these contacts purported to include telepathic conversations with them, including one elderly lady who experienced telepathic conversations with one for four consecutive summers. Lapseritis spent weeks alone in the forest quietly trying to communicate with the Sasquatch, instead of hunting and tracking them as had other researchers. The Psychic Sasquatch And Their UFO Connection provides the readers with revelations about these gentle creatures and the astonish truth about their connection with extraterrestrials -- and why they continue to successfully elude all attempts to locate them. Fascinating, original reading for students of metaphysics, extraterrestrial contacts, and the elusive Sasquatch.

This review is from: The Psychic Sasquatch: And Their UFO Connection (Paperback)
This is a nice little reading alleging psychic communication with bigfoot (who is considered a human with mystical powers),ufo pilots, their relationship with each other, etc. Some people will undoubtedly think the good doctor is nuts;maybe he is,but if he isn't-what a story. If you've read B.Ann Slate's 'bigfoot'you've heard of this before. This takes the communication much further. Also addresses their ability to disapear into thin air,and teleportation. For the skeptics, don't bother. If you're skeptical why bother anyway as to take the time out of your life to read this book since you can't be refunded your precious time. For the open-minded:just what you need.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Psychic Sasquatch, September 24, 2007

I read the book," The Psychic Sasquatch" and found it to be a very good book to familiarize yourself with the subject matter. I feel that the writer is very credible. I personally know people who have had many similar experiences. I think that everyone interested in Sasquatch should really read this book so that you get a clear understanding of why they behave as they do.I personally got a lot of answers to my questions from reading the book. I absolutely believe they are psychic and can enter other diminsions. How could they be so elusive otherwise? There are so many sightings these days yet no one has been able to prove their existence. The other point that is made in the book is that the bigfeet really do not want to hurt anyone. They are like all other living things if they are threatened yes they will protect themselves. They should not be stalked to kill or capture dead or alive. This message is loud and clear in the book. The book gives a great deal of positive information about bigfoot. I have gained more info from this book than any other I have read so far. Keep and open mind and think about what your reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars A "fascinating read" if your mind is open..., February 20, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Psychic Sasquatch: And Their UFO Connection (Paperback)
This book is a fringe area topic as stated in the title. It should be taken at that. If you can open your mind to the possibility that there may be some truth in this book, then it will be an enjoyable book for you to read.

The book is filled with encounters from different people who have experienced the Sasquatch as a loving, intelligent entity and not the monsters that they are made out to be!

Their connections to UFOs have been documented way before this book was started. This book merely makes the connection in a clear way that will make you want to encounter one of these beings.

I know Kewaunee personally. I traveled with him and met many of the people referred to in the book as having had telepathic contact with the Sasquatch. He is not a charlatan. Consider this....
If you accept that there is a Sasquatch, (I think that sufficent homework on this topic would bring one to conclude they do) then most likely either they are a primate animal of some sort or there is more to the story.
Now, we know just about everything about every animal on earth...how many grizzlys, pronghorn antelopes, snail darters, gery speckled owls, etc. there are. We know where they live, what they eat, who they date, etc. But there's this 7 foot tall 600 pound primate running around our backyard and we can't even get a good photograph of them?
There is more to the story and Kewaunee is telling it.
I have had limited experience with the Sasquatch beginning when I was young. I haven't much to conclude about who they are, but I am certain they are not just another animal. They have a shamanic nature. I suspect they are sentinent being. An open mind will lead humanity to open the door to this fascinating topic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very fascinating read, December 16, 2006

Based on past interview accounts from eyewitnesses to the sasquatch, I have long felt that this being was one of interdimensional capabilities, and that its intelligence was vastly underrated. Far too many thousands of people have seen the large humanoids, and reports of them dates back thousands of years. Yet none has ever been captured, or even a body or skeletal system been found of a deceased individual. Could this be due to interdimensional capabilities? The native americans have a long history of reports of interacting with the "tall man", and they have reported that it possesses not only the ability to de-materialize and materialize at will, but also possesses strong PSI powers and influence, including telepathy and hypnotic suggestion. The author Jack Lapseritis has painstakingly gathered testimony of well over 70 individuals who have had remarkable encounters with the being, and their accounts tend to coincide with what the native american culture has been saying for hundreds of years. These creatures are not 'ape-like' in terms of their intelligence, but instead are likely BEYOND human intelligence. They are a fascinating, peaceful race according to those that have encountered them, despite their hulking appearence. I quite enjoyed this book, and it has helped open my eyes to some things that they were somewhat closed to before. I hope the author writes a follow up of his more recent accounts.

This review is from: The Psychic Sasquatch: And Their UFO Connection (Paperback)
Well written, thought provoking book about the reality of beings that were probably here on Earth long before we were. Jack Lapseritis, M.S.,who has been researching this subject for some 40 years, does a great job of presenting this fascinating information from a level-headed, rational, intelligent point of view. For people in the know, this book may shed incredible new light, but for the ignorant this information may well be beyond them.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fascinating read . . . but don't try this at home, March 29, 2008
By
Sig "Siggi" (Portland, OR USA) - See all my reviews
Many readers, no doubt, will find this book interesting, particularly if they know someone who claims to have seen or been near a sasquatch.

Since these types of reports come from all over the US, you might be one of these people. Keewaunee's book is compelling in places; however, I advise extreme caution when attempting to duplicate some of his experiments, especially if you attempt remote viewing or telepathic communication in a hot spot with activity.

Keewaunee is naive and reckless when it comes to opening up dialog. In some ways (at least in a symbolic sense) sasquatches are more like demons or fallen angels than the benevolent creatures that Keewaunee idolizes. They certainly have a different set of priorities than human beings, and many of these run counter to what benefits the mental health of humans, which are ill-prepared to deal with meta-psychology, except in an abstract, philosophical sense.

Would you drop LSD in the woods with a non-human sentient being that has been naturally endowed by the universe to move in and out of altered consciousness as easily as you come and go through the front door of your own house?

Keewaunee cherry picks when it comes to Native American and shamanistic wisdom regarding this type of thing. He should pay more attention to the warnings these indigenous cultures put in place regarding contact with sasquatches. 99% of the time, it was (and still is) strongly discouraged, and for good reason.

At first, such contact might seem like a huge rush, YES! I'M NOT ALONE IN THE UNIVERSE AS A MEMBER OF A SENTIENT RACE OF BEINGS!, but later it leads most people astray from the things in life that really matter: family, friends and a spiritual path to enlightenment, whether that be a Christian sense of God, or other belief systems that emphasize goodness, love and a devotion to positive spirituality.

This book is an enjoyable read, but should not be used as a how-to manual for contact anymore than Cotton Mather's "Wonders of the Invisible World" should be used as a self-help book. Both are equally naive in their own ways.

The book makes you strive to connect sightings with ufo activity. The author certainly has spent his whole life researching this possibility. Takes me back in history when there were those who said, "the world is flat"! So then why couldn't Bigfoot travel by ufo?
