This is one of those books that is actually as much fun to read as it is informative. I intentionally keep this book on my coffee table, for when friends or guests comes over, because they always get a kick at answering some of the questions and seeing how psychic they are. There are a few, "Check the Box" and see your answer, which are really interesting and everyone from my mom to my daughters enjoyed seeing how psychic they are.

The book also has beautiful bright pictures that impressive the eyes, and sections on Palmistry, Tea Leaf Reading, the Aura, Mind Over Matter, Mind Reading, The Chakras, Dreams, Tarot, Crystal Balls, Pendulums, Healing with the Hands, and the list goes on.

This book is on of my favorites, because it really sets the mood for a good time when friends or family come over. The Tests really are impressive, and fun, and every one who has been to my home, has fiddled through the book and taken the tests, even my skeptic brother answered the questions, and found out he was a "Closet" Shaman. Which of course awakened his curiosity. This really is a fun book, and a good intro to many Psychic and Occult mediums.

Very interesting. The book has test to tell your psychic style. Vivid information on chakras, auras, dream meanings, the I ching, Tarot, reading tea leaves, palmistry, crysral healing, and much more. There are also many many exersises that can boost your psychic abilaties. A must have if you are interested in psychicism.

This book was very insightful and covered most all popular occult mediums. It has various tests to take and explains a lot about different types of psychic ability. I really liked the different chakra pages.
The reason I gave this book only 4 stars is because I felt there needed to be a little more detail added to some of the other catergories.
Overall, if your looking to learn about chakras and meditation this is a fantastic book.

This book teaches you a little bit of everything!
Learn all there is to know about any Metaphysical subject or art by using this book as a starter guide.
The color graphics are wonderful and the book is simple and easy to read. I loved it!

Within a month of reading the section Telekenisis I was moving a mylar balloon back and forth across the room by using only my mind. And after trying this for over ten years with no success whatsoever you can imagine my surprise when I finally got it right! I was just trying to move the wrong things.

It's a very nice book, with beautiful illistrations. It is a great way to jump into many different areas of psychic phenomena. It includes several different quizes to help you figure out in what areas you have inate talents. I enjoyed reading it. However, it is not a book that you will often pick up once you've read it. What it provides is a great introduction to different areas. What it does not provide is any depth into the different areas. That being said it is still worth the price.

This has got to be one of my favourite books, ever. I have it set down next to me (opened to "Travel to Other Worlds in Your Dreams", page 72), and despite having read through it several times, I still find myself coming back.

I haven't yet been able to try all of the things (such as astral travel, which is why I'm reading it again now), but what I have tried worked well.

Julie Soskin's techniques for aura helped me greatly, and I'd suggest it for people who have been having trouble reading them. Her method of charging a pendulum worked much better than others I'd used before, and she let me in on some things even I didn't know about tarot cards.

I have a few complaints - the dream dictionary could have been a bit longer, and some of her techniques needa little more detail, however, it's not enough to take away from the value of the book. It is for beginners, which isn't a bad thing, and it doesn't harm the quality of the book. However, even people well versed in such things should take a look, if only for fresh perspective. You never know everything, afterall.

Another thing worth noting, is that this book is simply beautiful. Every page is gorgeous! I got this book for free, but I'd be glad to pay whatever price they asked for this.

When I bought this book, I thought I was purchasing a book on boosting or strengthenng psychic abilities, but it turned out I was getting much more than that. This easy to read book covers areas I never expected, like dream meanings, reading auras, color therapy, runes, I Ching, Tarot, tea leaves, reading palms, using a divining rod, connecting with your spirit guide or angels, using a pendulum and numerology. The author even gets into great detail about chakras and chakra healing. It's fun to read, colorful pages, and easy to understand. There are many tips on building your psychic powers too, but even if you're just interested in learning a little more about metaphysical practices in an easy to read format, this is a perfect book. Not only will you read it, you'll keep it as a reference guide. I know I won't be letting anyone wrestle it away from me! There was so much information and it was such an exciting book full and great ideas that I can't wait to start reading it again!

Before you buy any other book consider this book first.For anyone interested in psychic abilities and how to develop them I suggest you buy this book first.Its written in simple English so everyone can understand it. There are several quiz sections throughout the book.These will help you find where your potential is.And,its not boring.I enjoyed the whole book.

The book itself is a beautiful book.Colourful pages throughout and feels very positive.The book is printed on high quality paper.I agree with another reviewer,this is a good coffee table book.Everyone will look at it.This book has so much to offer.You will learn a lot from.For the price alone this book is a great bargain.Ideal book to give as a gift.I didnt bother finding fault with this book because I liked everything in it.

If you are looking for an indepth book on psychicism, this is NOT the one. However, if you are just starting to investigate/read on the subject, then this book is a great place to start. It covers so many related subject headings and gives a taste of each, just enough for you to decide whether you'd like to research a specific subject further or not.
The book is certainly thought-provoking and it could actually help guide your next readings on the subject.

This book contains more than what I was expecting. It covers a lot more subjects than just psychic issues. The tests and exercises are easy to follow. The beautiful illustrations and colors make it more encouraging to read. I recommend this book for psychic enthusiasts. Good job for the authors and publisher!
