Being an aging software developer (49), I am concerned about decline in mental agility over the years. To help prevent that, I buy and use a lot of software similar to this product. I have to say that without a doubt this is the most crudely developed piece of software I have ever purchased. The exercises are extremely (extremely!) basic, and appear to have been programmed by somebody who has never written a piece of computer software before and is having a hard time learning how. Almost none of the options in this software have any replay value at all. A good portion of this software consists of poorly made and very childish little visual riddles, and once you have figured out the riddles there is no reason to ever try them again since they are always exactly the same. The software is full of spelling and grammatical errors also, including one delightful screen where every single word is misspelled. The crowning glory of the whole thing is you have to have the cd in the drive or the software will not work.

Here is an example of how this software works: Thinking games - you are presented with a screen with 30 buttons on it, numbered 1 through 30. There is nothing to indicate which ones you have chosen before. When you choose one of those 30, you have two crude graphics at the top and one crude graphic at the bottom. You are choosing which category (left or right) the one at the bottom belongs in. The categories are things like "is it a predator or not a predator" or "is it a cat or not a cat". Yes, believe it or not that is what the thinking games consist of. Once you figure out this little visual riddle, there is no replay value because the next time you click on button '4' or button '5' or button '30' you get the exact same riddle as last time. You play each of the 30 visual riddles once, figure out the visual riddle, then you are done.

I honestly do not understand how other people could have given this software good reviews! I buy software products on Amazon all the time, and this is the very first software I have ever given a negative review.

I was always able to remember a great number of things at once and perform fairly complex calculations in my mind. Several years ago I noticed that these important skills are on the decline. I've tried a number of products to train and improve memory, but with limited success. Then I tried the "Brain booster 4 you"; WOW! This product doesn't have the prettiest cover, but the content is phenomenal. It is carefully constructed making your brain do the necessary crunch work. Using this software improved my memory, concentration and self esteem. I liked results so much that I made my children use the software as well. They find it interesting and entertaining. I'm so impressed with this product I'm going to buy a copy for my parents. It would make a great gift. The best $29 I've ever spent.

I strongly beleive that this program can improve our memory and concentration abilities. I've used it for myself and recommend it to my friends concerned about keeping their mental abilities in a good shape. I can compare it with some other products that I tried before, and I think this one is the best.
