Editorial Reviews

Review

"This text is highly readable, up-to-date, and presents I/O psychology in a comprehensive and realistic light. I also think the author's experiences and examples nicely illustrate points and help to make the text more personal and entertaining."

"Muchinsky is an excellent writer...This is a very good book that I will continue to use."

"I think that this text still represents one of the best I/O psychology textbooks available to professors today, covering the areas that are important for this field. In addition, I think that the students find this textbook to be relatively easy to understand, which is a big plus for any professor." --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

3.0 out of 5 stars Writing uncomplicated but too theoretical, May 1, 1999
By A Customer
I think that they should have presented a more applicable, rather than theoretical, approach to the foundations of work. However, it covered a variety of topics and the tables were superb.

This review is from: Psychology Applied to Work: An Introduction to Industrial and Organizational Psychology (Hardcover)
Quite good. Important forum where day-to-day issues that come up in a workplace are tackled in a no-nonsence manner and explained in an integral causational respect.
